You can pursue your purpose and enjoy the ride
PURSUING YOUR PURPOSE IS LIKE WHAT MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR SAID ABOUT FAITH…
“Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”
It sounds heavy, right? The idea that you have one mission you are meant to carry out while you’re on this planet, and that if you do not find and live your mission you will fail to live your most meaningful life. And while that is true on some level, that’s a lot of pressure to dump on yourself. It makes the decision to avoid pursuing your purpose more palatable, even though you understand instinctively that avoidance does not equal happiness
Based on my 50 years of observing what happens when one parent pursues a purpose and the other one ignores it, 30 years of experience pursuing and living my own purpose and my work with people on the same journey, I can tell you that purpose does, in fact, equal happiness. And I know from experience that you can pursue your purpose with none of the pressure and extreme joy because living your purpose is meant to be joyful.
So if you’re ready to take that first step on the staircase, let’s talk.
