Yeah, I know you’ve heard the rest of the question, but I’ll finish it for you anyway:
…you knew you couldn’t fail?”
Maybe you’ve heard it said so often that it’s now white noise in the background of a life that’s running on auto pilot. A comfortable life. A life where you’re trying to squeeze into the box society has created for you, but feeling frustrated as the urge to do more with your life spills out over the edges.
In our current climate of self quarantines and stay-at-home orders, this is the perfect time to ask that question of yourself again. To reflect and reassess. To listen to the still, small voice inside that is constantly urging you do more with your unique gifts because the life you’re meant to live is too big to fit in a box.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said it best:
“Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it!”
To simplify the path to living a bigger life, I often tell people I work with to focus on three things:
Dream. Dare. Do.
Have a Dream for your life.
Dare to believe you’re worthy of it.
Do whatever it takes to make it happen.
This is your opportunity to do all three. The chance to free yourself from your box and fill the world with a different kind of noise. A soul-inspired noise. A sound that burrows into the hearts of those still trapped in their boxes and grows louder until, they too, feel inspired to escape and explore the possibility of their own greatness. Because you’re not just freeing yourself from a box. You’re helping to free the world.
